We are grateful for the organizers of this tournament at-least for considering Gender and including ladies. It is our humble request to the Ministry of Sport to always remember the ladies when it comes to sport in our county.

We are encouraging all the ladies over the country to keep themselves busy during this festival of Christmas. to make sure they indulge themselves in activities like sport to evade getting entangled in illusions that will ruin their lives.

TRAINING LAST SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

All the officials of the Soccer Girls Vihiga this Saturday of 9th and Sunday 10th of November were present at Mago Polytechnic training fields. they were so impressed with the determination the ladies showed during the training.  they said that if these ladies will be given support if possible from our county, they can grow into a big team that can promote both our county and even the whole nation at large.

They discovered that the team doesnt have a good ball for training and that they didnt just need one ball. for effective training they need around 20 balls. they said that it is also very important for the ladies to have traing boots so that they can get used to them.

They also encouraged the team with the fact that they had prepared a proposal in which the team budget was also included and that if the ministry for sports was going to consider it then come december when schools close, their will be enough materials for training.

They wished us all well

INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION
Vihiga soccer girls is a ladies football team which is in Vihiga county, training at Kapsambo sports center and Mago Youth Polytechnic training field. Young girls from the local community and students of Mago Youth Polytechnic come during holidays and weekends during school days to develop their talents.

We started with a group of 10 girls and now we have grown to more than 50 girls. we come together every Saturday and Sunday afternoon to do our training during school days and 5 days per week every afternoon during holidays. This training has been of great help to us both physically, mentally and academically. we have been encouraged as ladies that we can be a people of great help to the community through our talents, we have learnt to believe that we all can. we have encouraged those ladies who had lost hope thinking that there is nothing left for them to do.

Above all we believe in the Most High God who gives us this chance in life and the people who can stand with us to develop a girl child into a leader and a responsible and reliable woman in the society.

If you are reading this we ask you to stand with us in advice and support (Training materials ie; balls, playing shoes, uniforms, goal nets, training bibs, First Aid Kits, etc, finances for transportation and facilitation).

Thank you in advance.
